Strange Love Written Update on Wednesday 24th August, 2016

UPDATE BY S.S.S
The teacher asks everyone to get in position. She asks NK to keep his hand on Khushi's waist. Arnav hears this and stops. NK does as he's told. Khushi flinches a bit and Arnav is watching her. They are asked to lock their eyes with emotions and awkwardly, they do so. Arnav does NOT look happy and walks away. NK-Khushi and PayAsh take their positions and start practicing. Shyam comes and Anjali makes him join the practice. His eyes are on Khushi, though. They also start praticing. Shyam is scolded for not creating chemistry with Anjali. PayAsh are praised for their coordination. Khushi-NK are having a tough time though with NK stepping on her feet all the time The teacher calls for a break. Shyam asks Anjali to come with him.
Shyam gifts Anjali some flowers and she gets happy. Shyam starts sneezing suddenly and Anjali panics. She calls Khushi to get her phone quickly and Khushi obeys. As she approaches their room, Anjali is scolding Shyam (because according to her, Shyam is allergic to those flowers). She throws the flowers in the dustbin and says she wants him remember that she doesn't like such gifts. Shyam again tries to give an impression that Anjali is illtreating him. He apologises to her but Anjali just walks away in anger. Khushi is also about to leave when Shyam picks up the flowers from the dustbin says Anjali wants only expensive gifts, flowers and his love don't mean anything to her. Khushi tells him to stop it.
Madhumati is singing something when Garima asks her about certain clothes she finds in her cupboard. She says it is her bridal dress. She wants either of Khushi or Payal to wear that. Garima says Payal's bridal is already selected so Madhumati says Khushi can wear this 'coz she'll be happy.
Khushi asks Shyam to stop it. However their relationship might be but she knows he means a lot to Anjali. The flower incident might have a catch which she doesn't wish to know. It is their personal life and he shouldn't wash his dirty linen in public. She leaves and Shyam says he will have to do something else now to win her.
Khushi's phone rings and NK wonders what kind of music this is. He picks up the phone and Madhumati is calling. She says 'Hayye re Nandkis****' When he says he is Nandkis**** speaking Madhumati gets a divine feeling She asks 'Tum kaun bol rahe ho Nandkis****?' and he says 'Hum bol rahe hain Nandkis****!' She says 'Bhagwan ne humari sun li' Finally Khushi comes and takes the phone and Madhumati asks if she knows who picked the phone, she says it's Nandkis**** and Madhumati asks her to touch his feet and chadhao prasad Khushi says this is not THAT Nandkis**** but Nanhe Finally, she clears Madhumati's misunderstanding. Finally, they get to the point that she has found her bridal. She should come home and try it. Then she hangs up and the teachers say that break is over.
Akash compliments Payal on her dancing skills and they have a cute talk. Khushi, NK and Anjali are smiling witnessing this. They silently approach the two and cough. Finally, PayAsh realise that they have an audience and they tease them for not realising it's breaktime. Nani comes and Khushi excitedly asks her to join in, Arnav also comes and says he doesn't want to dance with her. She tries to clear his misunderstanding but he doesn't listen. Khushi gets an idea.
Anjali says Shyam isn't well, he can't come. The rest continue. Khushi calls NK as 'Chhote' and Arnavji since he is dancing in his place NK says even if she abuses him he'll like it They start dancing. The teachers say Khushi isn't a girl but a firecracker. Khushi keeps calling NK as Arnavji and indirectly says a lot of instigating things and Arnav is getting angry
Finally, Arnav's patience snaps and he goes towards Khushi. Khushi also loses her balance and falls in Arnav's arms They share an eyelock but err..Arnav doesn't look like he's in mood for any romance Nevertheless, he does look moony eyed too The scene freezes on this eyelock
NK spins Khushi and somehow loses his hold on her. She and Arnav collide.
Rabba Ve plays.
It’s the first Rabba Ve moment since Diwaali. It’s intense.
Khushi, stumbling, steadies herself by grasping his arms, holding him tightly with her head on his chest, and Arnav’s arms instinctively go around her. She lifts her head, staring up at him, and their eyes lock.
Madhubala comments that this style, this passion, this emotion is what she wants - but Arnav and Khushi are trapped in their own little world. He’s still holding her, her hand is wrapped around his wrist at her shoulder, and they’re unaware of anything outside of each other. Arnav speaks to her in a low, intimate voice that’s completely inappropriate considering that they’re surrounded by both their families. Those named Arnav can’t do anything properly, right? Maybe I shouldn’t have caught you. Should have let you fall. Hmmm?
Khushi change the meaning of the words into another promise - I’ll always catch you . Arnav did a similar thing on Teej when he said - First learn to walk two steps, then say something - and his tone and the way he held Khushi changed the meaning of his words.
They’re brought back to reality by Anjali asking if Khushi is okay. Arnav releases her and she takes a few steps away, still flustered, breath hitching and heart pounding. When Madhubala asks Arnav if he’s changed his mind about dancing (her assistant pitches in to say their pairing looks very good) It’s Khushi who quickly says no. They both deny wanting to dance with each other.
NK notices that Arnav turns at the bottom of the stairs to look at Khushi and that she stares back at him. But he also sees Khushi break eye contact first. Later, as practise continues, NK looks longingly at Khushi as they dance while Khushi looks a little unsettled.
Bua-ji returns to Shantivan
Madhubala suggests that Bua-ji and Nani perform together for the Sangeet, so Nani invites Madhumati over to practise. NK answers the door when Bua-ji arrives and there’s a brief moment of confusion until Khushi explains - again - that he’s Akash’s cousin. Madhubala teaches Nani and Bua-ji while the youngsters watch but Nani and Bua-ji try to outdo each other after changing Madhubala’s steps.
Khushi corrects NK on his Hindi as Arnav comes down the stairs and he overhears NK repeating his words that Khushi understands what’s in his heart very well. Arnav watches Khushi and NK laugh together, first looking forlorn and then angry before making a phone call.
Note : Arnav can’t seem to stay in his room. He keeps coming downstairs to check on Khushi, pretending he’s busy working.
When NK mixes up his Hindi yet again - this time the words for “old” and “good” - Khushi corrects him before joking that NK himself is old. NK is embarrassed but Arnav, distracted from his phone call, can’t stop a smile. Khushi looks up to see her Laad Governor smiling but both their smiles fade away as they stare. Arnav retreats upstairs again.
Frustrated with Bua-ji and Nani’s interruptions, Madhubala reminds them she’s the teacher, not them. She leaves for her next session, telling everyone to practise what she’s taught them.
Anjali checks in on her husband, who is feigning sickness so he can come up with another plan to convince Khushi about the state of his marriage. Anjali mentions their plans for midnight tomorrow, New Year’s Eve.
What looks like a few days is actually many weeks!
When the families gather at the dining table for afternoon tea, Arnav and Khushi sit next to each other
Bua-ji and Nani bond over Madhubala - both of them say that she reminds them of their mother-in-law - and then NK asks Khushi for clarification on a dance step.
Arnav watches, mesmerized, as Khushi demonstrates, Rabba Ve playing softly in the background. He’s so engrossed in her that he burns himself on his tea, which jolts Khushi from her demonstration as she looks at him in concern. NK interrupts their brief moment, complimenting Khushi by mentioning dead bodies (a reference to an earlier confusion where he got words mixed up). This prompts a confused outburst from Khushi and a glare from Arnav.
NK quickly changes the topic to the upcoming new year by sharing a story from the newspaper - If you see someone’s face at midnight on New Year’s Eve, then you will spend the your life with them. Arnav and Khushi immediately look at each other and pause for a beat, eyes flicking all over one another’s faces, before looking away.
Anjali makes Bua-ji and Khushi uncomfortable when she reveals that she and her husband make sure to look at each other every year. NK then suggests that Akash and Payal go on a date tomorrow night so they can see each other, but both Bua-ji and Nani are united in their belief that a bride and groom shouldn’t spend too much together before marriage, and certainly not at night. Khushi teases Payal about not being able to see Akash before saying that she hopes that she doesn’t see that Laad Governor’s face at midnight. Payal doesn’t like that very much, so Khushi teases her about her jeth-ji.
When she’s alone, Khushi prays to Devi Maiyaa that she doesn’t see that Laad Governor’s face at midnight.
Arnav overhears and tells Khushi
I won’t come in front of you. But I don’t why I have this feeling that tomorrow night, at exactly midnight, you’ll come in front of me .
Khushi argues that she’s not crazy, she won’t come in front of him, and Arnav repeats that he has a feeling that she will, saying that she has a habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He confidently tells her that she will, somehow, end up in front of him tomorrow and ruin his year.
Khushi again assures him that she won’t. When Arnav says that it would be better if she didn’t show her face, Khushi vows she won’t go anywhere near him tomorrow.
