This incident happened in Akyem Kusi in the Eastern region when a woman by name Elizabeth Kpodo from Akwatia found out that her boyfriend was having an affair with another lady called Monica Owusu. Elizabeth traced Monica in her boyfriend's room, lynched her and burnt her rival with substance suspected to be petrol to death.
Elizabeth was later lynched by the youth in Akyem Kusi when they found out what she has done until police came to her recue immediately they were informed.
Monica's burnt body was later admitted to St. Dominics Mortuary while Elizabeth was receiving treatment at the Hospital.
