Let's Swear To Be United In Akwatia-Asanka Poyoyo

The Assembly member of Kwame Kuma electoral area in the Akwatia constituency, Asanka Poyoyo known in real life as Erasmus K. Ali has raised concern that, the executive members of the NDC party in the Akwatia constituency and the leaders aspiring to be MP's on the ticket of the party should come together and sign a book of peace or swear an on oath to prove that, after the primaries on November 7th, the aspirants and the executives will still support each other for the victory of the party on 7th December 2016.

The unoppsed Assembly man who was sworn into office yesterday for the third time told deraycity.blogspot.com that, "there should be life after the primaries because there has been misunderstanding in the constituency as the primaries approaches. I dont want a situation whereby one aspirant will say he didn't win so he will do all he can to undermine the winner, so I am suggesting to the executives and the contenders to bear with me to swear an oath which will tell that even if any of the aspirants loses he and his supporters will still support the other".

The Assembly man who had rumours about him contesting Baba Jamal four years ago stressed, "though the aspirants are made to swear with the Bible or Quran at the vetting but thought constituency organized one will sustain peace after the primaries".

Asanka Poyoyo has informed some of the executives of the party and some elders in Akwatia about the decision of the NDC party smoking the peace pipe but hasn't received any answer yet.

The businessman who doubles as assembly man has done some development in the community including construction of bridge, donating to the orphanage home every year on his birthday and construction of road named Asanka road among others.
